Cafecito con... Puerto Rican Writers in the USA
Culture Vulture
I was born in the late 1950s and grew up in the 60s and 70s, Puerto Rican bodegas were everywhere in my Chelsea Neighborhood in New York, Chelsea had a small enclave of Puerto Rican and other Latinos as well as Spanish meat markets. The majority of Chelsea at that time I grew up was Irish and other European descent families but the bodegas were all Puerto Rican.
❤
A freaking book signing? This profane woman is detestable. Hard to believe they paid her to write a book about her sick, despicable conduct. What a degenerate. She’s a psychopath and serial killer as far as I can tell, who belongs in PRISON. Can’t imagine being her husband. 🤢🤮
Yes Briana’s grandmom and an amazing woman…where can I watch this specific interview in it entirety? I watched Los Sures already. I would love to watch the rest of this specific interview. Please let me know where
There doing this to me now bc i know so much and exposing them their putting a machine in the next apartment under or over me that causes my body to vibrate. Keeping me sleep deprived. BC I EXPOSED THE IMMIGRANTS TRICKS AND I EXPOSED THE 🌈 CONNECTION TO THE IMMIGRANTION PROBLEM 💯 1000%
No one in the US informs people of the exploitation of Puerto Rico. Thanks.
I encourage anyone watching this who is actively involved in, a participant or creator or fan and consumer of Hip Hop as a culture to hear me out..I am in this video and used to go by Chief69...I used to bboy,do graffiti, did emceeing and Hip hop activism when I was not saved from 2008 ish to 2017ish.....years later now I actually ended up a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Highly recommend anyone watching this to watch our content online to see and learn and understand that I was wrong about a lot of things...I was a chapter leader of the universal Zulu nation in the Bronx River area, I was the NYC president of Tbb the Bronx boys rocking crew which helped create bboying as you know it today... please understand it's all antichrist as a culture and leading you to hell.
Cousi s was left out for some reason or other. My grandparents were cousins
I am boricua, and I found out that my grandparents on my mothers side were . Also, one of my ancestors going way back was Saint Ignacious of Loyola co-founder of the Jesuits. I wonder if that would make me a bit of a saint? 😂 just kidding.
Buenos Dias...112th and 2nd, NYC.

Ray Barretto True Pioneer
Nothing is for free. You pay for what you get. Government electricity did not work. Private companies have to make money to be able to fix infrastructures that has been old for decades. Hello, que pasa.
👏👏👏👏
Description says exhibition ends 2/2023 not 2024.
True journalism needs more brave people like Bianca who challenge the status quo of mainstream media which has been corrupted by their sponsors.
Puerto Rico does not need to be in solidarity with any progressive movement in the US. That shouldn't be a stipulation for sovereignty.
As an Afro-Puerto Rican author and researcher, I have used the library in the past and will continue to use it in the future as a source for primary materials for my work. I have found that traditional resource materials are insufficient to tell our story which is developing this very moment. I rely on oral histories and personal accounts to fill in the gaps that were left when others tried to tell our stories from the outside. My goal was, and continues to be, telling our stories from the inside out. The telling of our stories, our way, from our own perspective is my number one objective. Thank you Centro.
Centro's Library is an institutIon we should all be proud of. Desde New Jersey.
Hello, My name is Dr. Derrick Colon. I am currently working on a documentary for my UA-cam channel on the Latino connection in Hip Hop. Would you give me permission to use some clips from this video on TBB, as well as clips from the Joe Conzon interview? My documentary will not be monetized and I will credit you for the clips. Many thanks for considering my request. Dr. Colon

RIP Tito … one of my heroes
Muy Buen tema!
Pretty accurate 😂
Excelente documental honrando la historia, vida, obra y legado fel Maestro Tito Matos.
Its very harmful for it to just be labeled "poor white peasant people " they were romani / jewish / canary islander guanche mixed people / Indigenous/ african all of it . We are decendents of the slaves that were put to work and lived off the lands . Thank you for input. My family grew up knowing the truth and to hear the rest of the islands misinformation really did effect some of my family members into becoming anti jibaro . I love my cultureeee!!!
